Each chapter of my experience has peeled away another layer of injustice, unveiling the flaws and failures of the systems that were supposed to protect me—and countless others who have found themselves in similar predicaments.

Through adversity, I have discovered the strength I never knew I had, and I have learned to reclaim my voice and my life.
